[Silence]

Winter was literally groaning and crying in pain. She couldn't think straight and blood dripped down her whip-scarred back.

He untied her and removed his jacket, putting it around her and gently picking her up, "I got you baby" He said softly.

[Silence]

She cried out, his jacket touching her open wounds.

[~Bacon~]

"Sorry baby, you have to deal with this for now" He sighed and carried her as gently as he could.

[Silence]

Blood quickly stained his jacket. She winced, growling in pain.

[~Bacon~]

Nixi smiled and nuzzled against him, kissing his jawline.

He took her to the hospital and made sure she was given good pain medication.

"These scars will never heal, sorry to say. It's a shame." the doctor shook his head.

He smiled, kissing her head softly.

[~Bacon~]

"As long as there's no infection and she isn't in any pain its fine" He said with a frown.

She smiled and cuddled against him, letting out a yawn.

[Silence]

"Oh she'll be in pain." he huffed, giving him a bottle of clear liquid. "You'll have to put this on her back at night. It'll hurt her a lot, but it'll keep her wounds from infection."

He smiled back, rubbing her sides gently.

He sighed, "You cant even give her any pain killers?" He growled.

She kissed his nose and fell asleep with her head on his chest.

[Silence]

"They wouldn't work." the doctor rubbed his forehead. "She's heavily sedated now, though."

He smiled, watching her sleep. He fell asleep soon after.

He let out a long sigh, "Fine fine" He muttered.

She woke the next morning and her ears drooped, she let out a soft whimper.

[Silence]

She groaned, waking up slowly.

He sighed, kissing her. "You okay?"

"Hey baby" He said gently and he cupped her cheek.

"No" She whimpered and hid her face in his chest.

[Silence]

She whimpered softly. "What happened?"

He gently stroked her hair. "What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

[~Bacon~]

"My father kidnapped you.." He sighed and rubbed her cheek with his thumb, forgetting he still had his FBI uniform on.

"I don't know.. I feel sick" She whimpered.

[Silence]

"What?" she whimpered, looking up at him. "But... w-why?"

"Awww, Nix... I'm sorry. Want me to take you to the doctor?" he held her softly.

"Because he wanted to get to me" He sighed, "He left my mother for some prostitute and thought I would take on his business" He said.

"If you want" She mumbled.

[Silence]

She whimpered, looking up at him.

"Alright..." he said softly, carrying her to his car and driving her to the ER.

[~Bacon~]

"I'm sorry baby... I didn't think he had found me.." He sighed and looked down.

She curled up when she was in the car and she sighed.

[Silence]

"It isn't y-your fault, babe..." she said quietly.

Once they got her into a room, he stroked her fur softly when she was in her bed.

"Feels like it" He sighed.

She curled up on the bed, her ears flicking as the doctor came in.

[Silence]

"D-Don't sweat it..." she murmured.

The doctor walked in. "Hello. Just dealed with some poor girl almost whipped to death. Anyways, what's your emergency?"

He sighed, "I have to put this stuff on your back at night, but it'll really hurt, its to keep infection out" He said softly.

"Feel sick" She mumbled and her ears stayed back.

[Silence]

She whimpered softly. "Okay..." she muttered.

The doctor nodded. "In what way?"
