Hissing Doveflutter growled, "I said lay down, Snowpelt!" she snarled, louder and more angry than ever. She hadn't gotten any rest at all since 6 days ago, when the blizzard had started. "You're giving birth dear StarClan, Snowpelt!"

"I said I would be fine!" She yowled, standing and lashing her tail swiftly, her ears pinned back.

[Silence]

"Fine then, give birth alone!" Dovepaw snapped, storming off to be alone.

Her ears stayed pinned to her head, she wobbled over to her sister and licked her cheek, having wanted her there when she had her kits, keeping herself from delivering would begin taking a toll on her body after a while.

Dovepaw grunted, "Shootingstar, don't let her do this. It will hurt her, she could die if she's distracted by her sister while she gives birth!"

Shootingstar nodded, sighing. She stumbled to get up and limped her to den. Dovepaw closed the entrance to her den so Snowpelt couldn't get out.

Showpelt tried to follow her sister, her ears pinned back and her tail lashed towards Dovepaw.

Dovepaw came back to help Snowpelt.

Snowpelt hissed towards a large contraction, panting lightly, well trying to pant lightly, just panting heavily, she couldn't take it anymore, completely following Dovepaw's orders now.

[Silence]

Dovepaw helped her, compassion kicking in.

Snowpelt laid on the moss bedding and let out a hiss as a strong contraction hit her, her entire body tensing.

[Silence]

Dovepaw sighed, giving her pain herbs, "I'm so sorry, Snowpelt but that's all I can give you." she said, pressing her muzzle to Snowpelt's head to comfort her.

[~Bacon~]

Snowpelt panted heavily, her body jolting slightly as she pushed, ears pinning back from the pain, she took the herbs, losing some of the pain, but not enough to be bearable.

[Silence]

Dovepaw looked at the kit pushing out of the Queen's core. Once it's small shape slithered onto the moss, Dovepaw nipped the birthsac open, bringing the first kit to life. "It's a tom!" she said, smiling.

[~Bacon~]

Snowpelt panted, tired already, her head rose from the moss, looking at the small tom kit and purring lightly, the small white kit matching her looks almost completely, she winced and her head went back to the moss as another contraction hit her.

[Silence]

Dovepaw helped bring the second kit out... it was stillborn when she opened the birthsac. Tears filled her eyes, "I'm sorry..." she said quietly.

[~Bacon~]

Snowpelt continued panting heavily, ears drooping as Dovepaw had found out the kit was stillborn, she forced herself to sit up and licked both kits, her muscles tensing as she felt another contraction while licking the first kit and the stillborn.

[Silence]

Shootingstar paced outside the den, worried about her sister.

Dovepaw nodded, carrying on and waiting for the next kit to be born.

She pushed the two kits to her stomach, even if the one was dead, she still felt slight comfort with the one there, she went back onto her side and hissed as she began pushing another kit out of her, a marble looking kit, it was noticeable that she was exhausted.
