"Are you alright?" he asked when she growled.

She curled up into a tight ball, purring.

"Something hit me" She muttered, glancing around and she let out a cry as she saw one of the eggs in a tree below them.

He purred and laid his head over her back.

He stopped softly. "Did one fall?" he said, worried.

She purred, curling up tighter.

"Yeah" She said panicked and she launched off him, stretching out her wings and flying towards where the egg was.

He smiled and fell asleep soon after.

[Silence]

He stayed there, waiting for her.

She nuzzled him softly.

Just as she was about to grab the egg, one of the auctioneers tackled her, she let out a roar and struggled when she was pinned to a tree, she was just barely touching the egg and had knocked it off, along with dropping the basket.

He smiled in his sleep and he wrapped a wind around her.

[Silence]

He swooped down, grabbing the basket and egg, hiding them. In a matter of seconds, he launched onto the auctioneer, slashing his throat open.

She made a purring noise, smiling as well.

[~Bacon~]

The golden dragoness let out a whimper, large gashes on her side and wings, she panted, trying to get up and get to her eggs.

He slept through the night, muttering in the morning as he hid his face under her wing.

[Silence]

"How DARE you touch her!" he said, snarling at the Auctioneer. He turned back to her. "Look away, darling." he sliced the auctioneer's head off, kicking it away.

She groaned, looking away as light shimmered down onto her.

[~Bacon~]

She didn't even care what happened, she just needed to find her eggs, she staggered up and yelped as she landed hard on a rock, the side she landed on happened to be the heavily wounded side.

He squirmed and nuzzled his head under her wing more.

[Silence]

She woke up, softly shielding him from the sun. She kissed the top of his head gently.

He raced over to her, gently putting her on his back. He gathered the eggs, and basket, taking flight again.

[~Bacon~]

He purred in his sleep and nuzzle against her, a small smile upon his face.

Shine whimpered and reached a paw down, trying to grab the basket.

[Silence]

She purred, nuzzling him back.

"Shhh... rest... I have it." he said, kissing her softly.

[~Bacon~]

He slowly woke and began grooming her scales.

She whimpered and still tried to grab the basket from him, needing to check them over.

[Silence]

He showed her the basket. "They're all fine, don't worry." he said.

She opened one eye lazily, purring softly.

[~Bacon~]

She breathed hard, her blood rolling down her body and his.

[Silence]

He whimpered, licking her wounds.

She flinched slightly, "Cave.." She mumbled, spotting a cave.

He nuzzled her and gave a smile.

[Silence]

He nodded, flying in. He gently put the basket down and let her off of his back.

She smiled, "Good morning."

She panted and reached for the eggs, a tired expression upon her face.

"Morning" He smiled softly.

He nuzzled her. "Shhh... just relax..." he said, bringing her the eggs.

She nuzzled him. "I had no idea you came in." she said, laughing softly.

[~Bacon~]

She weakly curled around the eggs, trying to warm her belly to keep the eggs warm.

"You were sleeping when I did" He chuckled.

[Silence]

She smiled, looking up at him.

He sighed, curling around her.

He nuzzled her and gave a smile.

She moved the eggs close together and she leaned against him.
