She sighed, "And the auctioneers haven't even come to check yet..." She mumbled, eyes widening as she heard the calls of the auctioneers, she jumped up, panting already and her belly sagged.

He snarled at the auctioneers as they entered. "Get. Out." he snarled, pushing one. A fire dragon snarled. "Where are the gold eggs?" Thistle snorted. "She's pregnant. There's nothing to see here."

She had sank back into her cage so he wouldn't get into trouble, cowering in the back of the cage, she had even slipped her chains back on, just incase.

She looked up at him, whimpering softly, "I hate to say it... If any eggs are golden... We should destroy them..." She mumbled and gave a sad look.

His eyes drooped, he looked away. "B-But you... you worked so hard..." he said, gently kissing her. "They're our children..."

"They will be taken if they are gold" She cried, "I was as well, I never knew my parents, no one has told me anything about them and I don't want this to happen to our hatchlings... Not all of them can be gold..." She mumbled.

"I'm sorry..." he said, backing away when she cried out. His eyes drooped, the vines wrapped around him seemed to wither and droop.

She shook the chains off her and she pressed against him, whimpering softly, "I think the eggs are close.." She mumbled.

She let out a small sigh, tensing and growling as she felt a contraction, "Very close" She whimpered.

She instinctively snapped at him when she felt another contraction, laying in a nest.

She panted, trying to move to a comfortable spot, though it was hard for her as her contractions became closer together.

She whimpered, taking a small drink and she moved again, panting slightly as she began pushing.

She panted heavily and whimpered, she let out a moan as the large egg slid out of her, she breathed tiredly, clearly it wasn't over.

He looked at the egg. "Okay, it isn't golden." he said with a happy sigh. He lay it beside her, kissing her gently. It was a tannish brown egg.
